It was a tough decision, who to see tonight dam funk (pronounced “dame funk”) or skream. I’ve been meaning to see skream for a while now, and I’m sure he will kill it tonight, however, this decision was all about old vs. new excitement, and I chose new. Living in Calgary it is not often that an artist comes to town at the same time as I’m discovering them. I’ve only tuned in to this guy a couple weeks ago. So it was that kind of excitement when I saw the poster on the street last weekend. ”Seriously? he’s coming next Saturday? I just got his records in the mail yesterday…. damn!”
